Pleasant Valley Golf & Country Club is one of the region’s most interesting courses, located to the north of Pattaya, set amidst beautiful mountains in close proximity to the lakes at Khao Kheow National park.

Approximately a 40 minute drive from the city, Pleasant valley, as the name suggests, has some of the most pleasant natural scenery, making for a memorable game of golf in Pattaya.

The course is set over 18-holes, with a par of 72 over 7,202 yards, designed by Golf East, creating a challenging but enjoyable course for golfers of all abilities. Many of the holes play alongside swamp areas with natural reeds, with some ponds and water hazards across the fairways. You better stay straight or it could be a wet round for you.

One of the signature holes is the par-5 12th hole which needs a good tee shot to carry 200 yards to start with. The dogleg 18th is a short 360 yard hole and is one of the best on the course making the perfect finishing hole. Big hitters might even be able to reach the 18th green in one shot, which always makes things interesting. If you are not going for the green, we advise you to take a 3-wood to hit the fairway and be careful not to hit into the water.

Although there are mountains and natural hills surrounding the course, it is very easy to walk, as the elevation changes are minimal really, pretty similar to Khao Kheow Country Club nearby.

The course is always in good condition, and with friendly caddies, good quality changing rooms and a clubhouse, this is a unique course to play in Pattaya for those seeking something a little different and off the mainstay courses that people playing golf in Pattaya usually choose.
